Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
You may give us your Identity / Contact data by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you:
- Apply for our products or services
- Create an account on our website
- Request marketing to be sent to you
- Enter a survey
- Provide us with feedback
If you request a quote from us, we will offer you a no obligation free quote. All of our quotes are valid for 30 days. It is entirely up to you as a customer whether you would like to continue or whether you don’t continue.
We can confirm that all of our items are 100% lead free pewter and only consist of Copper, Tin and Antimony.
We stress that customers must contact us before sending their item back to us in case we aren’t able to fix or replace the item.
For all repairs, we ask the customers to send us detailed pictures of the item that needs fixing as this way we can see the damage before it’s sent and have more information on the piece. We stress that we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to repair a product, but once received we can evaluate this and contact you with confirmation and a price.
If you aren’t happy with a product that you’ve purchased from A E Williams (Est 1779) LTD aka www.pewtergiftware.com and within 30 days of receiving it you would like a refund, we ask that you send the item back to us- this must be sent back in the condition it was sent out to you, (if the item is damaged then we aren’t at liberty to offer a refund).
Please note that we aren’t able to offer a refund on any item that has been personalised.
In the case of an Order for Bespoke Products or Personalised Products, the Client may cancel their order, if confirmed in writing within 48 hours of placing the order, provided this is prior to personalising and/or commencement of production. Following the Personalisation of Products or commencement of master/production however, the Client may not cancel their Order. Once the Client has signed off the artwork and/or copy (this must be in writing), A E Williams (Est 1779) LTD is not responsible for informing the Client when Personalising will take place.
To be able to cancel an order, you must make contact with us within 24 hours of placing your order. If you don’t then the payment will be taken and the item will be sent.
