Hip Flasks, A sneaky Tipple

The Hip Flask began to appear in the form recognized today in the 18th century. Hip flasks were traditionally made of pewter, silver, or even glass, though most modern flasks are made from stainless steel. The hip flask is popular as commemorative item, often being purchased for weddings and other special occasions.

Some come with small cups to make sharing easier, although generally liquid is drunk directly from the flask. They are usually contoured to match the curve of the wearer's hip or thigh, for comfort and discretion. Some modern flasks are made of plastic as to avoid detection by metal detectors.

All of A E Williams Hip Flasks are made from Stainless Steel and contain a Pewter Motif in the front. With the addition of a Motif we have managed to create and extensive range of Hip flasks to suit all needs. Our Hip flask designs range from Rugby Hip Flasks right the way through to Scottish, Irish, Welsh and Celtic Designs.
