Cufflinks, Mens smallest necessity
A cufflink (also cuff link or cuff-link) is a decorative fastener worn by men or women to fasten the two sides of the cuff on a dress shirt or blouse. The earliest known form of a cufflink dates back to the 15th Century whereby Shirt cuffs were tied together using Cuff Strings. Over the next 500 years this idea became increasingly popular and started lead to the development of more effective and more intricate designs of cufflinks.
With the increase in popularity of Cufflinks more accessories started to be added to shirts, including Tie Slides and Cravat pins usually to try and compliment the cufflinks designs. A E Williams have played their own part in the development of designing cufflinks to suit the taste of the wearer. We can boast a beautiful range of designs including from English and Celtic Cufflinks, right the way through to Cufflinks inspired by famous people such as Archibald Knox and Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
As we all know after a night out or a long day at work all you want to do is put your feet up and relax. However the next time you come to find your cufflinks you know the pain staking task of trying to find that one that has gone missing Where did I put it again? you may ask. To solve this problem A E Williams have developed a unique gift box, in which the design of the cufflink matches that of the top of the box, so no more stressful last minute rushes to get ready, you know exactly where you left them.
